One of the girls has been broody for 3+ weeks. She has sat on unfertile egg, eggs, nothing, on the roost on the ground under the chicken hut, in her bin in the middle of the yard. Basically, she's broody. No boys around, so nothing going to happen.

We've pulled eggs, we've moved her, we've locked her out of the hut.
None of that is working.

Any other suggestions on how to debrood her? The other chicken gave up after she was kicked out the first time. This girl is determined!

For stubborn ones I like to use the wire cage method, usually a wire dog crate type thing, and keep them in there for a week or so, if they seem determined might go two weeks, they usually give up in a couple of days since they can't really sit on the floor if the wire spacing is wide enough. I like to put roosts in because the wire is usually spaced wide enough that they can't stand/sit on it comfortably (most dog crates seem to be around 1x4" spacing or better).. and keep the crate in the middle of the coop/barn isle or where there is a lot of light and things are really busy, you want the hen to be bothered as much as possible. For food and water I like to use small bowls I hang from the sides since some hens will sit in bowls on the floor. Other people have mentioned putting a small fan under them to cool them off more, or dunking their bottom in cold water occasionally etc. Not sure if you have seen it but there is an article in the Learning Center on discouraging broodys that has some other suggestions/links.
