Dec. Egg Swap.. CLOSED

You can also call 800-527-1950 or 800-610-8734 and order Priority Boxes over the phone. If your Post Office is charging for Priority Boxes, then you need to call and report that to the USPS, as they are free as long as you use them to ship Priority. They do charge for the Priority tape, but that's all. I have sold on eBay for 10 yrs now, and have NEVER paid for a Priority box. I use Endicia for my labels, and by doing them online, Delivery Confirmation is free also.

You can also get the regular stickers that say 'priority mail' on them for free from the website. There are 2 different kinds, one has a limit of 1 and the other a limit of 3.
I think priority is the flat rate box. If you are getting any other than flat rate boxes, then they would charge for them.

ALL Priority boxes (flat rate and regular priority), envelopes (tyvek and cardboard), stickers (except tape) are free. I know...I have an entire closet full of them. The price of the boxes are figured into the Priority rate. Copied from USPS site: "Priority Mail offers 2-3 day service to most domestic destinations and is often used to expedite matter mailable as First-Class Mail, Periodicals, or Standard Mail. Priority Mail envelopes and boxes are available at no additional cost at post offices. " You must specify you want a Priority box, or they will try to sell you a "ReadyPost" box. Priority boxes MUST be used for Priority Mail only.

I so wanna join but this month is soooo busy. Next month count me in. I have GLW and BR seperated together if those are good enough.

Me me me!!! I sent you an email. I'm new to the forum and just saw this thread and think it's a keen idea!
-Spooky.

If you go to www.usps.com and click on order supplies, you can have boxes sent to you from usps at no charge...just make sure you are using the one that are at no cost, some boxes you do have to pay money for.

The reason I know is that I am sending more things to my grandkids in Germany...hoping if I do priority it makes it by Christmas!

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to wait till next month. It has been super wet here lately, and the chicken's run is like a mud pit!! Plus with the weather being as wacky as it has been we aren't gettinghardly any eggs right now. But I will be in next month, birds willing!! My button quail should be laying by then!! And maybe my ducks!
