December Egg Swap ~ It's New Years Day - How's your Hatches Going?

I had 3 make it to lockdown. Only one hatched. Still 1 in there figured out the one ee was bad so removed. I have 1 cute little ee in the brooder and 1 brown egg still in w/ my new years hatch eggs. Its very late though so not much hope but my temps might have been a bit low this hatch.

Mine are still hatching just had another BR hatch 6 made it to lock down and so far 5 are out this will be my best swap egg hatch yet and my turkeys are pipping away they are due anytime after midnight I did the Mahonri's New Years Hatch and I just took out 13 of my own chicks 12 Indian Rivers and 1 Cuckoo Marans and I have 1 of each pipped. I had to take these out and add water it was dry so I figure they'll be out in the morning I can't tell if the 2 other Marans eggs are going to do anything they aren't pipped so I left them in there....doing 2 incubators was fun and I have another one going with more turkey eggs and plan on cleaning up one tomorrow and setting some more turkey eggs.

no hatches yet , but i do have some pips from braclins eggs 5 of the seven eggs made it to lockdown ......



lotsapaints , i was hoping you would have more eggs make it , it irritates me only 6 made it to lockdown

Well when that one egg was cracked I knew the postal service had fixed us up good....I think if we're going to ship eggs that the foam might be the way to go I even had broken eggs that I shipped close and they were packed well it's just the holiday mail...I think I might get all 6 to hatch and that's the best hatch I've had from the swap you did good. I used the swap to learn how my eggs would ship I've learned a lot plan on learning more I think swapping is fun I'll post some pictures when I take them out tonight I hope.

I set 36 eggs total I hatched 6 one of them was your buffs but I lost it the next day , this hatch was doing great til lockdown I had 20 something eggs doing gret until lockdown then only the. 6 hatched

Idk , I had your eggs , 16 black lav split eggs from bargain , then 6 ancona and 6 blrw from nava , and the 5 I have are black lav split orps that I am greatful for but I was hoping for a better hatch so I got mad at the bators and put them up for sale and they sold I just can't get rid of them yet I still have eggs in them but I'm buying me a sportsman 1502 with my tax money
