December Egg Swap ~ It's New Years Day - How's your Hatches Going?

I have gotten some tracking numbers but haven't checked them off my list!! Busy week here!!! Lost a couple of birds in this strange freezing weather in December. We usually don't get freezing temps until Feb.

I'm hoping that everybody has gotten their eggs out!!! if not, please let me know!! If you don't receive your eggs by the 11th at the latest - please let me know.

i have bantam cochins smooth and frizzled lockdown 7th along with some rir

fbcm, bbs ameraucana , buff orps eggs flashpointfarms lockdown 9th

nov swap rir eggs soulsong ----- lockdown 21st

then i have blrw, anacona , black lav split orps and dec swap eggs coming on the 9th - 11th , so those will be new years eve and new years day hatches

all the chicks im hatching this winter are keepers , for the spring laying season , so excited cant wait , i have been trying to add more orpingtons , ameraucanas, sussex , leghorns, welsummers ,EE, fbcm to my flock . mainly just working with large fowl breeds besides silkies , sizzles , frizzles and bantam cochins

When I took mine in the guy looked at me like I had 3 heads. Said I dont know if we can ship these let me check my book, so after half an hour of him looking he decided that we could send them. I kept telling him that they get shipped all the time. But he did put fragile stickers all over it and perishable too.

All 9 arrived in great shape. One had a PR on it. Wondering if its a Plymouth Rock or a Penciled Rock? Thanks Lotsa!!

Braclin my Penciled Rocks are still a little young I can't talk them into starting early...and I just got enough turkey eggs for the other New Years Hatch.....but you did get Rocks Partridges they will forage great and the weather never makes a difference in how they lay if they can range you wont have to feed them much
