you hatch more eggs than I could imagine! You’re amazing! I can’t wait to see what you hatch for DD!!!! That was my favorite part of BYC is watching all your hatched and processing pics

She had the most unusual coloring as a chick. She feathered out gorgeous!
Has been cranking out an egg every day since. She is a plain white chicken, but awesome none the less. Smarter then any of my fancy purebreds, too!
LoL I wish for popcorn silkies! If the slow development of the Brahmas is any indication of how quickly this hatch is going to go, I’m thinking molasses.I have had both experiences! Silkies I hatched this past Spring popped out one after another like popcorn, some at the same time! Marans were painfully slow, hours and hours between eggs.
Good thing you got the bad eggs out before they exploded! It does happen and it is not a pretty sightwell goldie has a friend now, alittle wet behind the ears but a friend nonetheless heheh .. she was crying and alone for a few hours there .. the others are taking their time .. i never did candle this batch and was smelling something so decided to candle the non-pips - two were bad .. so the smells gone lol .. we got 8 'possibles' left including the two 'backwards' eggs .. im about as anxious as a chicken dad can be at this point
