Too bad that you couldn’t stick it in a Dixie cup and hatch it.

I saw them do that will a chick in a glass. Plastic wrap over the top in an incubator. So interesting to see.

If I had the means to do so maybe I could have given it a go. I've seen some videos with that experiment before and looks interesting!

I’m resisting the urge to candle again. I’d really like to find the duds so that all the good eggs can go into the automatic incubator.

I think I have the duds weeded out. I put them in the mini incubator just in case.

i'm going to do my first candle tomorrow night, will be day 6, i normally wait until day 7 but 1 day early wont hurt them, i'm curious now.

edit: when i started incubating/hatching eggs 5 years ago i learned alot from 'www.raising-happy-chickens.com with Cath Andrews' and this forum. I love Cath's step by step info with whats happening inside the egg today.

Its absolutely fascinating to me. The first time I saw the veining and that tiny embryo , I got the weirdest feeling.
A tiny little life is growing in that egg and I am making it happen. WOW!
