all 4 hatched healthy, all in the brooder now, looks like 2 splash, 1 blue & 1 black

I got a total of eight.


I’m not sure who is what breed though. I did get
1 Barnevelder
2 Cream Legbar
2 Liege Fighter
3 Marans

Sounds like many new babies all around-or will be. There was one new serama chick for me this morning; hopefully three more will hatch-then two more in 4 days-then another six or seven a week after that-and then...

A happy day-my golden phoenix hen laid today. A couple weeks ago I almost lost her from egg binding. Can't wait for her to go broody and hatch chicks. My golden phoenix roo is beautiful.

Can't say I talk to eggs, but I do pray over them. Now that's crazy.

Cute silkie chick. Makes me wish I hadn't sold my silkie trio.

One of my Marans chick has curled toes. I taped them. Possible slipped tendons. I’ll see how “Ducky” does in a week. Shoes come off on Monday.
All other chickies seem healthy and chipper.

So far we have 8 turkeys out and running around in the brooder. 1 more turkey talking in the shell and 2 possible nn looking good and one maybe... oh and we set up the new brooder today

I'm jealous; sure wish I could get my turkey hens to lay. Suggestions?
