I received my swap box today. Unless I am told otherwise I plan on holding onto it until Christmas. This is my first christmas in a while where I am stationed far from family, so will be spending it with just my animals and me.

My missing package (delivered Saturday) was finally located on my landlord's porch this morning (they swore they had looked & it wasn't there, I had also looked twice & it wasn't there...mysteriously reappeared after I told them I was calling the cops to report it stolen...the nerve of some people

).

I got 2 really nice cookbooks, salt & pepper shakers, pot scrubbie, crocheted potholder & dishtowel with crocheted hanger, all Christmas themed

Oh, and my eggs from reesepoultry arrived just in time to set for the hatch-along on the 11th.

Got 2 great packages this week..
1 from nick which had seeds and plant starts, this was great I have allready planted the rasperry shoots ,,,weather is still nice here so i went ahead and planted and mulched it , same with strawberries, hubby can not wait to plant the seeds, he's the garden planter i am the harvester.

another box with lots of goodies...cookies and salsa and plum jelly, perfect for my lazy holiday, i really do not feel like baking cookies this year, now I will have a tray of cookies for christmas..Thank you. Cannot wait to taste the plum jelly, have not had this for many years...

Catching up on all the posts and realized I hadn't posted receipt of my last package..sorry.

I have no idea who sent it, but was full of all sorts of great things!!! Loads of embroidery flosses, cross stitch fabrics, a book full of wildlife embroidery designs (ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!), gingerbread men beaded ornament kit, and a gardening book full of great, very useful gardening tips and info. Whoever sent this I thank you very much!! I love embroidery, can't wait to start on the deer. Thinking of using that pattern for a few throw pillows.
