In the Brooder
So today I decided to get 2 more chicks. We only had 2 to begin with but of course we don’t know sex yet so I got 2 more to ensure I have enough for eggs! The 2 new ones I just got are black sexlings. They look to be slightly smaller than my leghorn and other chick (unsure of breed) when I put the new ones in the all separated and went with their own parties lol... then I noticed one of my older one kinda pecking at the newer guys. I sat there for 20 min and watched them closely. I switched to a red light and they all seemed to slowly calm down. Do you think putting 2 news slightly younger chicks in the brooder was a bad idea?
