Decoys

So I was reading that I can’t let my adult males breed my girls until they are of egg laying age. Has anyone used hunting decoys for the boys to keep them from being overly aggressive from other females of breeding age? I have 3 males and 1 female of breeding age and 2 females getting close but not quite there yet. Any luck with this idea?
