Hello and Welcome from Tennessee!

Hubby and I are huge fans of the Rift Lake Cichlids. We have Tanganyikan's (Neolampralogus brichardi "Daffodils") at home and a mixed Malawi (Mbunas, Peacocks and Haplichromis) in our clients' tank.

Looking forward to hearing more about your farm and can't wait to see pix!!!

from Kentucky. We have family in your area who are missionaries (Eddie and Janet Ray). They used to be row crop and swine producers until Eddie was called to preach about 25 years ago. You have found a great site for information. Please post pics.

What a great project! If you are in need of continued funding for this, setting up a blog or website would be a great way to keep folks informed, and possibly generate revenue. Best of luck, and we hope to hear more!

Definitely post pictures of your chickens. It is so interesting to see many people here from around the world. We would love to hear about and see the different chickens and predators that you have.

WOW! The response is unexpected and has caught us in a difficult time with the farm out in the sticks = No communication and long trips in and out of town. (44 miles). We have some family in Tennessee for those from that area. We paid about $11 000.00 for the farm and we are trying to get info from the Government on a Zambian cross which supposedly does well here. Otherwise we are looking at something like Rhode Island Reds or an equivalent. We will post pics as soon as we have set some up. Also will post a sketch of our circular deep litter runs which are about 300 feet in radius. Predators are many - we have snakes(BIG ONES), small wild dogs and the local villagers with their own breeds of dog. Of course this is supplemented by some very large birds of prey.
