Deep litter method

Hi. Can I use the deep litter method is my coop has a cement floor? Also, can I use leaves in it after they drop this autumn?

Yes to both, as long as the leaves have not come in contact with poisons.
Shavings are great to keep down the smell in a coop since the poop is mostly water. The chickens will love to "search" through it, thus keeping is stirred up.

Cedar gives off an oil that can make chickens sick.
