Deep little method?

i live in Florida where it's hot basically all year long would the deep litter method work best in my coop? I'm trying to figure out what type of subtract is best for my coop that isn't to expensive to maintain.

I live in Houston, TX and I use the deep litter method.

should be fine, it's not temperature dependent so much.

Does it create an odor? My coop is open and I just picked up DE, but haven't put any down.

I have no problems with odor.
I am not a fan of DE, that's all I am going to say.

If you're doing Deep Litter, don't use DE, it will kill the microisims needed to break down the plant materials.
