Deer in yard by the coop

[the over easy six]

Hello all, I'm letting my Six white Leghorns free range. They are 12 weeks old and I have been keeping my eye on them. I let them out only when I'm home (afterwork and weekends) until they get alittle older. I let them out early this morring, and went in side for a coffee and heard them screaming. Oh no, something got my chickens! I ran out and there was a deer by there coop. Big doings, After a drink and alittle snack back in the coop resting. God Bless

LOL... isn't it funny how they get out of sorts for everything?
I mowed the lawn out by the barn and around the garden... they won't go near it!!! Would rather hang out in the horse stalls... go figure...
