Deer Recipes Anyone?

Well, today I was given a whole box of different cuts of venison including some burger with bacon mixed in. Guess I'll give that a try for dinner tonight, some burgers with baked taters. Then I'll have to get to work on some of y'all's recipes! Thanks!

Add HP sauce to the venison burger--DH does this and it's awesome. HP sauce is usually in the foreign foods section, it's some sort of magical British sauce that makes things taste good. Don't ask me what's in it, I'm sure I don't wish to know.

Well, last night I took some of the hamburger with bacon ground up in it and just fried it up in the pan and had it with baked potato. It was very good, just a bit dry. I probably over cooked it....

Tonight I browned the rest in a pot and made stew. It was awesome.

Thanks everyone for all the advice!

I fried deer 'cube' steaks tonight and it was great. Just dipped the beaten steaks in a mixture of milk/serama eggs then rolled them in flower/salt/pepper. Mannnnnn it was good!

We are working on our first deer. The best so far has been thinly sliced
steaks coated with olive oil, lime, and salt & pepper.

I like the idea of chicken fried deer. That sounds worth a try.

I've tried a few jerky recipes but haven't had any luck.
