Two deer were rescued today from a frozen river. they had been stranded for two days on the ice. a helicopter pilot used the wash from his helicopter to BLOW the deer to safety the video is really cool. of course I was eating a bowl of venison chili while watching the video but is was really neat.

Just because we can enjoy eating a bowl of deer chili doesn't mean that we lack compassion for the unfortunate deer stranded on the ice.

Amazing story...Just turned the stove off under MY venison chilie.. and served up a vension burger to my boy...but I wouldn't want the deer to suffer like that out on the ice, thats sad. My chilie had a quick and reasonably humane ending.
