I will for sure. Poor roosters heh, so cast aside. I should march right to the steps of the capitol with Sulo and be like "LISTEN HERE! I HAVE A ROOSTER AND I AM NOT AFRAID TO USE IT!" lol.

I will definately PM you if I find a good place who wants a rooster for flock managment, or even meat but a good home till then. Although like I said above, Sulo is scrawny and would make a 'poor mans stew' lol!

Well maybe with my two...a silver laced wyandotte and a sicilian buttercup it will be a hearty stew!

Oh man.. If I could have roosters I would LOVE to have a SLW roo.. I can imagine how pretty he is. I can't wait until I win the CA Lottory (hahaha) I am going to buy a 20 acre ranch and have many chickens and roosters, plus a few goats, cows and horses. Yep I can see it now!

LOL morgan that's my dream too! HOping to move to san diego area in about 4 years, raise whatever the heck I want. My chicks are only 6 weeks. Already beautiful tho. The buttercup is amazing with his crown! Funny I hatched the others but got the SLW from local feed store.. can't trust that 99.9% pullet ratio!

Well be sure to build me a granny unit on that property if I haven't won the lotto yet! haha. Yeah I got four chicks from the local feed store here, and Sulo was TINY and I picked him/her because of that, later come to find out he was a packing peanut. Ah well, he is a good boy.

I actually just found him a home with a lady who is raising EE/Ameraucana's. I asked if she had any SLW or Buttercups and happened to need a rooster, she said she didn't have those breeds at the time, but I will keep an eye out as well.

I found this lady on Craigslist (as much as I was darning it to heck) and weeded her through the unsuitable e mails. Have you given CL a try? I hate to advise that just because Sacramento is crawling with people looking for a 'cheap meal'. Also, where abouts are you located? I will be asking around, and if I happen to find anybody I will PM you.
