We bought some baby chicks from Tractor Supply and as they grew older we noticed some of the chicks beaks began to crook to the side. The upper part of the beak would turn to the side and the lower part of the beak would turn opposite. The eat and drink and continue to grow.
I never saw a chicken beak grow like this and do not know if it is a disease related issue.
Any information is greatly appreciated.

Omg, I noticed that this happened to one of my chickens. I thought the whole time it was because of my little sister who hit her beak when she was younger on accident

Most cases of crossed or scissor beak are caused by genetics, however a crossed beak can occur due to injury as well.
