Deformed chick wing

We have a Silkie chick that was hatched with a small growth on the wing. As it grew a feather is comimg out of the growth. The chick is healthy but the wing feather is growing forward. Should I remove the feather or leave it alone? Has anyone ever had a deformity like this before?

Hmm maybe another chicken is pecking it? I’m not an expert on injuries. Hope you find the answers!
