Deformed claw - unable to fix. Now what?

Thanks Eggcessive I realized right after I "hung up" and read the teeny ingredients list on poultry cell, not JUST riboflavin but every metal known to man as well as like 5000 types of vitamin B! Problem now is babywhom I named Wobs after one of our members duck that I have wanted to name a duck that to, but husband won't let me get a duck, so wobbly chick has to do. But anyway she is pigeon toed to the point of walking on the outsides of her feet. I bought waterproof medical tape, but looking at this little guy's legs they look like toothpicks! No way I could tape his toes individually. If I'm lucky I could maybe tape his ankles as I think they are rolling. Also how do you mix the poultry cell in food? No instructions on back order if there are they are in Aramaic or microscopic. Thanks for all advice. PS good talking to you again it's been a few years now. Time flies when your entire life is your animals right?

Taping toes with piece of tape on the bottom and one on the top with toes placed in a normal position:

OMG that's cute, but how awful at the same time! I'm cringing but I have to help Wobs. She hobbled all over the brooder and I just cringe for her. I have the tape ready but typical keet she HATES to be held. I may have to have husband hold her so I can have two hands to work with. That picture was way different than the previous individual toe wrap one. I canot do this!

Hi! and Thank you for Letting me Know about SpeckedHills. Below are some pics. Let me know if I need to take additional photos. That is the way the foot is currently facing. (Due East, I would say). Some toes are currently pliable, some feel "stuck" in that position. I would not be able to tape these toes flat currently. It would have to be a gradual movement. She walks on the side of the foot and now there is a bump callus forming. This is silkie. Also, how would I know if she is in pain?

Poor girl!
Is her hock (joint) twisted inward as well?

I would say her condition is probably genetic and can't be corrected. If the joint is turning as well, that would be a leg bone deformity.
I really don't know if taping the feet would help or not. The bump and callus is worrisome and could turn into bumblefoot, so you would want to monitor that.

Does she seem to get around to her food/water o.k.?
How is her behavior - does she seem depressed at all? It's very hard to know when a chicken is in pain sometimes, they hide it well. I would go by behavior.

Let's see if someone like @Eggcessive has any suggestions for you.

At this age, as Wyorp Rock has said, taping her feet are not going to have any effect on her toes. Since some are frozen in place, it could be a bone deformity or soemthing neurological. A callous could help from the skin breaking down or bumblefoot forming. You might also be able to pad it. Have you tried vitamins, including riboflavin (B2?) How long has this been going on? Aside from her foot, does she seem lame or weak in the leg? Mareks disease can sometimes present will curled under toes on one foot. Hopefully that is not what is happening, but a deformity or vitamin deficiency.

Would it be possible to post a video to YouTube with a link posted here, of her walking, or a picture of how she normall stands?
