Deformed Duckling right leg

Just born today. Noticed right leg not extending down. Walking on upper right leg. I have read somethings on deformities of duck legs. Just wanted other opinions on what I could do with home remedy. Pics attached. It appears to be getting sore. Someone suggested a foam splint? Not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Maybe I missed it looking at the link but I was actually looking for duckling feet/leg issues. I realize that chics and ducklings are somewhat similar. But it would be nice to see images. I will keep researching. Thank you.

Duckling can have slipped tendon too that is why I gave you the link so you could read up on it.

If this is slipped tendon it has to be fixed very soon after hatch to work. How is the lil one doing?

Not sure how to fix it. I have been putting a splint to try and straighting out however its not working. Seems useless to fix otherwise it may need amputation. Which funds I can't afford.

How is the duckling doing other wise, handicapped animals can live a good life with some extra TLC When you feel along the back of the leg can you feel the tendon out of place sometimes if caught early it can be moved back to where it belongs.
