Deformed feet?!?!

    My chicks hatched and all but one died instantly. The live ones feet are turned in and it walks on its "shins". What do you guys think I should do?

    Could it be splayed leg? Spraddle leg?

    Permanent if left untreated, I think. You have to treat it quick.

    Google 'splayed leg in chickens'

    That's not it. It's legs are straight, but it's feet won't open for it to walk.

    I see. I don't know but I think Eggsessive would. Hopefully Egg will show up.

    I'm really hoping this chick makes it. Will be a a beautiful Ameraucana/Australorp mix.
