My Delaware has been laying for a while now, she is about two years old. She has laid a soft egg before, about a year ago. And she just laid another soft egg yesterday. And then today she popped out a sorta soft sorta hard cracked egg and it had a TAIL!!
Should I be concerned? (I'll put a pic up in a minute)

I don't think that you should be concerned. Is she getting enough calcium? Usually this is the cause for soft or thin-shelled eggs. Some of my hens have also laid soft eggs in a short time interval but I just gave them some more layer pellets and they laid nice eggs again the next day! I actually like getting soft or deformed eggs because they always looks so weird and are quite interesting!

This is the egg. I have been trying to give her oyster shells, but she doesn't seem to want them.

Did she lay thru the winters? She might just be at the end of her quality egg laying.

No she didn't lay thru the winter. I don't think she's done because my Americana is four and she lays through the winter and she lays every other day still.

Hopefully she's just going thru a bump in the egg road and will be back to normal soon.
