okay, so for those who don't know, my mom works at TSC. I was talking to her today and she asked if i wanted a bantam because they have one left and it's in a brooder with at sick duck... I said, well if they let it go as a single yes. Well we got talking on the phone about this duck that is deformed. The poor thing's legs are upturned (Basically like the legs grew upside down) and i told her to tell them to cull it...

Any ways were talking now after work and stuff and she is saying how none of them wanted to cull it, it's not my mom's decision it would be the head manager. They are going to try and find a home for it.

I have two questions

1. Can it live a comfortable life with help?

and

2. If yes, how so?

Guys i know the easy answer would be to cull it, but no one at the store would let that happen. And idk if i could cull it if i got it because the bantam and it are best friends and sleep together and everything.

any Thoughts?

If it is perfectly fine otherwise, then why now let it live? Will it eat and drink if food and water is placed in front of him or her? If so, there is hope. It looks pretty content.

Mom says it gets around okay, it looks healthy and happy in the pic

Possibly a new house duck and bantam?

They sure are cute together. I think I would be tempted to give it a try and see how he does.

I'm a sucker for hard luck cases. These 2 could be friends for many years and it'd be touching to watch them grow up together. Like Milo and Otis.
