Do my hen got out of her coop this morning while I was at school and was out all day without access to water and she's not looking too good. She's acting like she's sleepy and her comb is folded over. I'm very worried so does anybody have any advice about to rehydrate her quickly?
Edit: I got electrolytes and mixed in her water and held the water to her beak, but she still wouldn't drink. So I got an oral syringe and gave her about 4 ccs and she took it well. After I gave her a couple mealworms and she seemed to be doing better and walking around more, but she still won't drink by herself. She went inside her coop and is resting rt now but I'll probably give her more water before the night is over. And thank you for all your help!

Hold a cup of water up to beak, and dip her beak to get her started. Sugar 1 tsp per cup, or electrolytes or Gatorade can be given. Do this as often as you can to get her hydrated. Offer a small amount of feed soaked with water.
Edited to say, that I have made simple electrolytes with 2 cups of water, 1 tsp of sugar, a small pinch of salt dissolved. The recipe doesn’t really matter that much just get fluids into her. If she won’t drink dip her beak or hold water on a spoon to the side of her beak and let some drip in.
