Izzy seems to be improving. She was up for a hour perky and eating and drinking. She still was very weak and clumsy though. Her favorite treat is corn so i cooked some and she loved it. She even was listening to my voice and was talking back. Her poo is turning back to solid. Really, really hope it does turn out as a happy ending!! She is really tired now. Going to keep her in a tote by my bed for the night.

Izzy is back out in the coop. She still is tired and weakish. She was just so bored in her basket. So i took her out in the back yard and she walked around, ate some bugs, got some grit, and slept. So when dinner time rolled around I put her out with the others. She is drinking and eating fine. But still just very tired while the others are running around playing. A friend of mine thought it might be that she is having pre-laying fatigue. Where she is just using every ounce of energy to lay her first egg. Can anyone second this?

Myself, I have never seen pre-laying fatigue....
