Has anyone ever tried dehydrating egg? Right now I’m dehydrating fruit with the machine I got last Christmas. I’ve seen powdered egg whites for sale in the store but not yolks. Is that because yolks don’t keep well? Do I need to separate the eggs 1st, or can they be dehydrated whole? I like to learn from others experiences. I know freezing works but dehydrating?

Never tried it or heard of home people trying it, but maybe it would work? I have a few dried up eggs, but not intended for food use, just eggs I have had for like a decade sitting on a shelf in a basket.
