My feed store is ordering from Mt. Healthy, and I was checking out the slim selection of breeds they have and saw Dekalb Amberlinks. I can't find much about this breed online and I don't think I've ever seen it mentioned here. Why not? Does anyone have this kind of chicken? Do you know what shade of brown their eggs are?

Looks as if they are a great brown egg layer.

After having been away from the US market for several years, she is back by popular demand. Mainly white with some brown feathers, the Amberlink has become a favorite, with her beautiful full brown egg color. Mt Healthy is one of the very few hatcheries in the county to offer this variety.

I read the Mt. Healthy info about them. It's kind of vague! I was trying to find a picture of their eggs or something. I searched BYC and that thread didn't show up. I wonder why...thanks for the links!
