Delaware Gang @ 5 Weeks Old (newest Pics #96/ 9 Wks Old)

That was one of the first things I noticed "Wow, those are some nice yellow legs"
What are your thoughts about breeding out or fixing legs that have a greenish / yellow hue?

So, Rockstar became Isaac . . . . I have yet to name any of mine. I was going to get some pictures today - - -BUT it has rained all day. They are almost 9 weeks old. I want to get some posted for some feedback on them. You did such a great job of identifing postives and negatives at such an early age.

I do remember reading on another thread about Kiara - - the double draft gene thrower. The things that we experience in breeding are so interesting. You just have to sit back and scratch your head about things that POP up!

The only thing I know about breeding out greenish legs is to not use any breeders with them. The females' legs are never quite as glowing yellow as the males, but they shouldn't have that dusky greenish-yellow look to them. I think I had one in my first group, but can't recall which one it was. The only two girls I got out of that group were Kira and Cassidy and Cassie died of a heart defect before laying her first egg.
