Do Delawares have any characteristics that ID them as male or female?

For example, will the rooster's comb come in earlier than the hens?
Will a rooster act protective, even at an early age?
At what age could I post a picture and someone tell me?

As with all birds, roo combs will come in sooner, at about 5-6 weeks in general, and by about 8 weeks, a pic posted up here can get you really good guesses if not nearly 100% as long as it is not a silkie!

Roos don't really start acting rooish till about 5-6 months old and then it takes a bit more time to learn roo manners.

Good luck!
