Delilah Lays Her First Egg!!

Here is my Black Orp girl, Delilah, although I often call her DeDe. She is just shy of her 24th week and here is her very first egg! It's small but beautiful.

The funny thing is that to many people that egg is a goodly size. LOL When those orp girls gear up they lay some large eggs.

Bonnie's eggs were never 'pullet' sized egg. She started laying med - large eggs from the start.

You know, my entire original flock never laid one single pullet size egg. They were all med to large, too. This bunch is giving me the standard pullet eggs.
