Sat early if you want to buy anything. The birds sell fast. Sunday is for handing out the awards and clean up. They are usually done everything by 12 on sunday.

April do you have prices on the two pullets? Would you say the blue and black pullet are breeder quality ??

Ohhhhh, I wish I could go!! But the car.. is not reliable enough to go that far!
I have decided I want bantam wyandottes. I didn't know they come in bantam!! I think I need more silkies too..

Well, I gave the clunkermobile a stern lecture, and I went to the show!!
I brought money, but no crate ( Barney is still in the crate in the laundry room).. Had I brought a crate, I'd have most definatey came home with a couple of bantam SLW's from Brody's Broodello. I would have worried about where to keep them after the fact LOL.

I wanted to pick up all the silkies and give them hugs!!

Kate M. from Golden Egg Farm won Champion Featherleg with her NB White Silkie hen (pullet?). I got 3 First Place (MFC pullet, also BV, Splash Cochin cockerel, also BV, and Butterscotch Call drake, also RV and Res. Best Colored Call), and 3 second place (Splash Silkie pullet, Splash Silkie hen and Butterscotch Call hen) out of 6 birds. There were some Gorgeous Porcelain Silkies from Brody's Broodello (1st), Pompadour Silkies and Tracey B. (M@M@2four). Oh, and Hannah (Silkieluvr07) had her gorgeous clear Buff Silkie pullets there (I think she got 1st and 4th on them?). Kay St. Amour had some beautiful chicken jewelry for sale. That's all I know of.
