Denagard flavor taste -my fix

I used a TREATMENT (strong) dose of Denagard in this 3 gallon pan. of course the birds were having none of it. I have tried the juice/sugar thing before with scant luck.

SO I used 5 cans of wet cat food and 6 eggs shell and all, a loaf of bread and a "bunch" of layer pellets. It will be gone in one hour or Im a bla bla bla.

I will do this for 4 days and then use yogurt. there is already messier then usual poop.

Some folks use Karo syrup. I guess it doesnt matter as long as the birds ingest it.

Can I ask how you mixed in the denagard? Did you drop a certain amount on or add it to the food in a water mix?

OMG what a great idea!! I have a small pond in my chicken yard, so limiting access to water is NOT easy! Slop time!!

Great idea - I also just pour over their dry food and that works alone, but I was wondering about liquid stevia in their water to boost consumption. I can't find anything about it being an issue for the birds - THOUGHTS? Thanks and Merry Christmas!
