Dental Plans?

Hello all,

I am in search of dental insurance. I used a "certain" tooth whitening strip and it has started to take the bonding off of my teeth. The glue is coming apart or something is happening. Anyway, I've stopped using the whitening strips (which sucks because they worked great!) and need to find a dental insurance plan to eventually replace the bonding.

Do any of you have a nationwide coverage plan? Who do you prefer? What is a good premium?

I've found some "discount" plans, but would prefer the insurance.

They do...but ONLY for full-time. Which is hilarious since they have stopped hiring full-time employees...yet keep hiring temporary employees.

My dentist told me that I am better off paying for my own dental services, rather than paying the monthly dental insurance premium and still having to cover what's left of the dental bill. As debraymond said Delta Dental is good, but still doesn't cover everything.

Which plan covers percentage for braces? I have three kids who need braces and the cost is crazy!!

Some dentists are self-insured. There's a Comfort Dental franchise that is pretty much everywhere up here at least and you can buy insurance from them. Weird, but I paid a little over 100 bucks for this insurance and in exchange I got my dental work done for about half the projected costs.
