Mine plooped and it looked like yolk. She's an 18 week old buff rock and she doesn't look like she's anywhere near laying. Her comb & wattles are small and pink; she was not the one I was expecting to be next.
When I feel back by her vent, it feels like a solid egg, though. I put a little mineral oil on it. She went to bed and hopped up on the top roost. Hope she's better tomorrow.
Ugh...16 more to start laying soon.
