depressing tried to hatch turkey eggs just threw out all but one

if they stopped laying, they should start agian, most of the time its light, my hens won't lay untill they get enough light durring the day, I get twice the eggs on sunny days as I do on cloudy ones and yes I keep track and yes sometimes the tom can't get the job done, the bb toms can't reach the hen! size does not matter unless he is bb breasted, size can hurt the hens ( to heavy) but the eggs will still be good! agian its not easy to hatch turkeys, what I would do, while the hens are not laying, I would pull the tom let him parade around a few days, away from hens, then after two or three days put him back, relax on the eggs my birds last egg last year was nov 3rd hope it helps tom!! support you local farmer

It is a Narragansett tom if that tells you anything he is bigger then the girls like I said maybe twice there size especially when all fluffed out. I don't know how to walk him around I only have a small indoor enclosure for them and a fair size area for outside....the tom hardly ever goes inside. The girls do all the time. I could lock them in the separate areas I guess. I can't let them loose stuff will eat them around here.
