Depression? Is it coming?

NC unemployment rate is the highest it been in yrs. 5.5% I think we will soon be in a depression. With gas and food and every thing else riding in cost we will be lucky to have enough money to live on in the near future. We all will be working to fill up our tanks.

NC don't let this stuff get you down. You are always a happy soul here.

This is why I hate threads like this. They succeed in nothing but spreading fear.
Several of you came up with intellegent and articulate responses but you are
speaking to deaf ears. The same thread happens every 2 months or so, even
in good economies.

We all should get down on our knees and thank whatever God we worship for what
we have.

Yes the unemployment rate in the US is unacceptable. Maybe if we deport all the illegals and H1-b's we'd have 100% employment. But we're still not in a world of #@!%.

I honestly didn't intend for my post to spur bash Obama threads. Of course there are many reasons for what's going on here in the US currently. I really just wanted people think about what they are going to get and the additional cost... comrade.

Hey, I'm just trying to lighten the mood here. I don't like to bash politicians anyways.
They do such a good job at bashing each other.

Like your sig line says, bok bok.

The obama thing is relevant. He's the only candidate that has outright said he wants to raise taxes. Of course some will believe it's only going to affect the rich. Obama has no choice but to raise taxes, especially so he can give y'all that "free" health care as well as fund is wet dream, the UN. bleh.

evil man.

I want Obama to be president so I can drive around with stupid bumper stickers
like so many people do with President Bush.

Obamaganda. I quote Obama all the time. "Uhhhh" see? I did it again.
