Oh my goodness, it's beautiful!!

(I LOVE Life of Birds! I have the complete set on DVD--I could watch the lyrebird and the black heron and the birds of paradise over and over again!)

The Fud Lady begs that you forgive her silly attire (she had just gotten home and wanted to visit the chickens right away) and her even sillier face.

When the chickens get let out to range, Derperella often finds the Fud Lady and flies up onto the back of her chair.
This time, the Fud Lady was wearing an Orange HAAAAAAT!

Love the new picture as well. Did Derp ever stop being broody ? Maybe next summer since you have a nice reliable rooster, you can let some of the other's eggs hatch. Some barred cochins mixes would be reallly pretty. And hopefully she or her sister will be more consist on being broody and will actually accept the chicks that hatched, unlike the easter eggers you bought this summer.

I think Fud Lady is a bit like Derp in the photo, because I think Fud Lady likes to STARE at Derp (as do I!)
