Oh Nambroth, I am so, so sorry for you and Puddles. Like Drumstick Diva I felt sick when I read your update. You did everything you possibly could to ensure against Marek's, and yet nature just won't give you a break.

Fingers (and everything else) are crossed that your treatments may do something to help - all us Derp fans know that you always do the best for your girls and boys, whatever it may cost, and however hard some decisions may be.

If love and prayers would do their stuff, he would be well tomorrow. I am heartsick for both you and Baron. After all your precautions,efforts and preparation I believe there is something more to Mareks that hasn't been discovered yet. I wonder if it has mutated.

Yes, it has.. there are now Very Vriulient strains of Marek's. I don't know if I have one, as the pathotyping is rarely done, takes months, and is beyond the financial range of most chicken keepers.

Once the lymphocytes transform into cancerous cells, there is not much that treatments such as this can do, as they are mostly for soothing neurological problems.
That said, we are trying the safe herbal remedies just in case they can do good. They can't hurt, so may as well try them. I have little hope they can help with lymphomas, but we will not give up unless his health seems to go downhill. I think it's cruel if he starts to suffer.

Has Millie shown any symptoms ? And oh it is frustrating that their is nothing you can really do to get rid of the Mareks virus on your land either.
