Well now at least she can do her chicky thing without hurting she's gonna look down on Derp and Susie and whisper in their ears more silly things for them to do so we can laugh...
I'm so sorry you lost her. Thank you for trying-- there is just so much that can go wrong when they aren't developing normally at such a tender age, and it's nothing we can control.
i do bird rescue, and a vet friend told me once sometimes we are called to be hospice, to show them comfort- you did that and then some- she will look fondly on you!!

Honey is antiseptic. Does not promote bacteria growth. That's why it dosen't have to be refridgerated.
In fact, the Egyptians used it in the mummification process. Can also be used to dress wounds.
Honey would be preferred over sugar by far.
