Just thought I'd check in. Three of my eggies from Warmfuzzies are doing great. They're just past the half way mark. I'm giving the others a few more days to see because 3 of them are darker and a little hard to look in when I candle.

My NN will be sitting this out since she went broody and is currently rearing some chicks I hatched from the incubator.

Sorry, I don't.

I'm not a fan of Polish chickens, so I never bother to incubate her eggs.

Here's a pic of my NN with her foster chicks. She had gone broody, so in the middle of the night I took her eggs out from under her and replaced them with 9 chicks I hatched in the incubator. She's happily mothering them. All of the chicks were hatched from my own eggs, and 5 of the ones in the picture are from the Japanesexsilkie cross. The tiny yellow one closest to the top is from my BTW Japanese hen. Sorry for not having a closer photo . . . when I get too near the NN is quick to cover up the chicks.

designer is right! Not only will it lay huge eggs, itll have fancy feet!
