These will make some absolutely adorable babies! $18 shipped, running over 90% hatch rate here! I'm also open to trades - chicken or non!

Daddy will be either a Black Copper Maran or a Golden Laced Cochin, mama is a Golden Laced Wyandotte, Buff Orp, or Australorp. The last babies I hatched from this group were feather legged cuties!!! Ever see a feather legged buff orp? Look below!

Thought I'd add in another photo or two of one of the babies - mama is an Australorp, daddy is a Black Copper Maran. Surrogate mama in the photo is my barred cochin and not related.....

Couple more photos - here are the daddies:

Belanus - Golden Laced Cochin Rooster (came from equibling - Rare Feather Farms)

Cupric - Black Copper Maran cockerel (came from tsagirl). He's still growing and maturing, but you can see what a handsome guy he is becoming (ok, I'm a little biased here, I know he's in his awkward teenage phase)!

Oh he is a sweetheart! He's very gentle with everyone, people, his ladies, he's the best rooster I have ever had! I'm making sure I let everyone know where I got this fantastic, handsome guy!

LOL Excellent, thank you! I appreciate it. I have a trio of black orps for sale and Dabrickasaw is also very friendly. I handle them from hatching and try to handle them all as much as I can. My hubby makes fun of me and always asks (any time I head towards the door), if I'm on my way to "fondle some chickens!" LOL It's a big joke with him. He is getting all frustrated with me when I was trying to "help" with the run construction and every time he'd turn around I'd have a different chicken in my hand or under my arm, painting stain. LOL The chicks I have now are absolutely stunning. They are turning into standard buff columbians. Both are roos, though I'm pretty sure...

I have a BLRW cockerel that I think he will get along well with - they both have very mellow, sweet, low-key personalities. My Black Copper Maran.....well......he's a whole 'nother story!

Ok, so I have to ask...where does the name come from? I immediately thought of The Thorn Birds (Father Ralph de Bricassart) but I'm sure it's not that. Is there a story behind Dabrickasaw?

Dabrickasaw Ferguson is an NFL player.
