Hello! We picked up 6 red pullets from TSC on 4/16/14. Within the first few days our favorite, Hot Rod, had developed a wry neck. With lots of research I bought a probiotic and vitamins & mineral supplements to put in their water and in 3 days, she was back to normal. About a 4 days ago I noticed she had a yellowish "scab" under her entire right wing. Her other wing looked normal with what I call "Baby Fuzz". We were told it might be dry skin and started putting Aquafor on it. She had some on her foot and we noticed on the right side of her neck. It seems to be actually getting better, but she doesn't seem to be growing feathers in some spots. The other chicks seem like they are staying away from her. Remember, the pics show a fresh application of Aquafor. So she looks wet. Without it, the yellow areas look crusty. I will post a few pics of what she looked like pre "skin issue"
ANY advice is welcome. I just got two Black Australorps, a buff Orpington, and am picking up a Dominique, Araacauna and a Buttercup on Monday. Currently the young chicks are separate from the reds. I need to know what to do, is it contagious? She doesn't seem to be in pain and falls asleep with every Aquafor application....

Hot Rod is my favorite and I hope she will be OK. PLEASE HELP! The last two pics are when she was a week or so old....

After doing a little reading I am a little concerned about Cutaneous Marek's but I am so green at this, I have no idea...
