We have a Sebright hen that is very very determined to hatch some chicks! She starting sitting on some eggs in March, none of those eggs hatched so I threw them all out. She came out to be with the other chickens after I took her eggs away. But once I went back out to the coop, there she was, sitting in the nestbox with no eggs. She is now starting to sit on the eggs that our other hens have layed, before I can even collect them! It has been well over two months and I think it's time for her to stop trying to hatch the eggs. How do we stop her? I have never had a hen that is so determined to have babies before!
