What I am trying to find out is is there anyway to sex baby R.I.Reds at birth? I read somewhere on the internet that with some breeds the feathers on the wings are all the same length on males and on the females they are two different lenghts. Very easily to see the different and sex. Only prob with the info that I found on this is that they didn't say what breeds this can be done with. Any help that my wonderful friends on here can give me will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God bless!

1- vent sexing day olds
2- wing sexing (female from a slow-feathering breed is crossed with a male from a fast-feathering breed-The sex of the chicks produced from this cross can be determined during the first 48 hours )
3- sexlinked
4- it lays an egg, even hens can have spurs or crow.
