Ok all I have a 2 year old rooster who has been last on the totem pole for a long time, we have moved him to a seperate pen and given him hens of his own for about 2 months now...
he appears healthy, and wins at shows quite regularly... but at home he just sits, very docile.... not like the other roosters who always show off and try to scare my feet..... lol
he tends to sit with his tail and head down quite often.... when he walks around or goes to a show, he is fine..... tail up... etc...
he crows every morning... but then just seems "down"...?
crop is fine, we keep them bug and mite free., we have NOT wormed but they are a small flock kept on clean shavings... eats fine, poops fine....
could he be "healthy" but just a very docile bird..?? he just prefers to sit and perch, than get around..?
