Thanks for the info, guys! I didn't know bobwhite are the pitbulls of the quails. Maybe I should just stick to my original plan & just keep a pair when I can sex them.

you can raise the water bottle up a bit too it'll be easier for them to drink it. i have mine set so they tilt their heads up to it a little bit that way it runs right down their beak. im sure it's easier for them.
