deviant artists? (this is weird of me..)

I had a deviant art account, but I lost it and don’t remember the username. I should probably make another one, but I’m not that good at art so I don’t know if I will. I did a lot of photography on it, and I enjoyed that a bunch.

Forensic suggestions?
You don't need to answer here with the details, okay? This is basic steps to track back and figure out your user ID in any website/forum/etal.
1st - can you recall what year the last time you were inside that site via that ID?
2nd - can you recall & list off all your email addresses that you had prior to *that* last known visit?
3rd - IF you know all of them and the password is what you forgot then the following steps are straight forward....

Reset the email password
Update user data to that dormant / forgotten email and setup a rescue /restore email address for any future struggles.

The rescue email addy had better be one you currently are using but, I don't recommend your main email addy.

Now that all your email addresses are up to date....

Go-to the deviant art site and click on the forgot user ID and go thru those steps.
Typically they will also make you reset the password once you have resurrected the account from dormant to active status.

Once you have setup the fresh password, you are golden.

I have a couple old / dormant email ID's but I also have a notebook with them written down in with the approximate or actual last date I restored them and the password as well as any security questions & the answers written in the spiral notebook as well.

I am slowly getting all website user ID's and related data organized again into *that* notebook. It's a work in progress that's sadly taking a couple years to finish.
I am referring to all website user IDs.

I don’t think I could remember an email from back then even if I devoted my entire life to it. I was like, 13 when I made my deviant art account, and I *think* I was 18 when I last used my account. So, 2010-ish is probably the last time I was active. The information you provided is very helpful though, and I would try to recover the account if it was say 9 years ago and I remembered my email address from when I was a kid.

Whatever will be, will be Grasshopper. I have lost my friendster ID from pre 2004 due to life's distractions.

Lost the tribe.net user ID because that site died when the economic bubble burst back in 2008 territory. It was semi-actively used.

As time goes by you will figure out what works best for you. My first official web type email was created in spring of 1996. Before that I had a couple B.B.S. accounts with user ID's but, no 'realistic' email account that one would recognize now adays. That 1st email? I still have it and it's recently been shifted to "minor league" status but, it's still used every week as it's tied to most of my gearheaded g33k forum User IDs. It's a Yahoo account. Go figure eh?

Cheers.
