Hi Everyone!
I am trying to source a dewormer for my flock that treats a variety of worms. My issue has been trying to find dewormers available where I live (Ontario, Canada). I currently have Safeguard goat dewormer and piperazine, but would like another option so worms don't build a resistance to one kind of dewormer.
If anybody has any ideas I would really appreciate it if you shared them.

I haven't seen anyone mention resistance when using Fenbendazole (Safeguard/Panacur), so if that's what you have, then you may want to continue using that.

Albendazole is another dewormer that is commonly used, so is Levamisole. I'm not sure what you have available to you, you may need to search around your local shops or see what can be shipped to you.

@dawg53 may have other suggestions/insights too.

Are you having problems with worms? I've probably dewormed my chickens once in 16 years. They shouldn't be problem in your climate as long as your chickens have plenty of space and dry bedding.

I've been using Safeguard liquid goat wormer and Albendazole for years and they are effective wormers for poultry.
I wish we had Piperazine here, it was an excellent large roundworm flush.
Go ahead and use the Safeguard goat wormer for worming, it gets rid of all poultry worms except tapeworms, no worries about wormer resistance in poultry.
