Hi all, I have 14 chickens and a rooster. I'm sure some if not all have tapeworm because I've seen them in their poop (tiny little moving white blobs like miniature grains of rice or round) and now their poo has become very watery. I need to deworm and plan on using Valbazen. My question is whether this is safe to do with 2 baby chicks in the coop. The big girls go in the coop to lay (except not in the last 3 days - no eggs!

) and to sleep. The babies stay in with their mommas all day long. Can anyone let me know? I know there will be a big worm dump in the poos and am worried this will hurt the babies. thanks

You can dose the chicks with 1/10cc valbazen. Repeat dosing all your birds again in 10 days. You may or may not see worms in the poop after worming them.
